Weaver Birds

I used to do a lot of this style cross-hatching. It just always came natural to me even before I ever saw this style. I then found out my Grandfather used the style a lot, so I must have inherited it seeing as I was named after him ! He never got to see any of my art because he died when I was nine or ten. I'm sure he knows now though.

I didn't realize you had started this little Moleskin blog but I am so glad I discovered it! It's all wonderful, and I just love these birds covered in my favorite style of crosshatching. It's all so very inspiring.

Okay, I have yet to bond with my moleskin. I have the heavy sketchbook pages. Do you just have the plain? I don't like mine at all. The ink looks like crappage.
